I like the new one waaaay more. Transcendence mode and instant quantization at the flick of a toggle makes it a perfect buddy for any tabletop setup. Really fucking tasty! :snax:

Here is my first test-run with the Rev K CT5, recorded shortly after it arrived.
Just messing around.

Basic Audio Gnarly --> CT5 --> Boss RE-20 --> computer mic input.

How do the quantization modes work on this new one? I've been getting abit confused with it.

You toggle through them with the toggle switch, up or down. :thumb:

I was a bit confused as well, but I mapped them the other day. If I remember right, mine goes like this, in order of clicking the Q switch down:
No Q (default)
Chromatic (half-steps)
Whole steps
Diminished (minor thirds)
Augmented (major thirds)
Fifths and octaves

The Q setting resets to No Q after disconnecting power (for me at least). Whenever I plug in my board I usually just push the switch up once to put it back into 5ths and octaves since I use that most. Hope this helps.

Argh. My CT5 was last reported as being at GBLALA, which apparently is Heathrow's international parcels division, on 12th february. I really want to get going with it!

Nice sounds!

I really love using reverse in various modes on the CT5.
Turns the tips of sparkle into fractal curlicues.
As you illustrate in your clips.

Fractal curlicues also sound good and
are fun to trace with your ear or your
mind's eye.
