I like the new one waaaay more. Transcendence mode and instant quantization at the flick of a toggle makes it a perfect buddy for any tabletop setup. Really fucking tasty!

i wouldn't discount that possibility at all!Inconuucl wrote:It could also be that you're more used to the older one? Change is hard I know.
I was a bit confused as well, but I mapped them the other day. If I remember right, mine goes like this, in order of clicking the Q switch down:SecretMachine wrote:How do the quantization modes work on this new one? I've been getting abit confused with it.
yep, all corrrect.ogguitar wrote:I was a bit confused as well, but I mapped them the other day. If I remember right, mine goes like this, in order of clicking the Q switch down:SecretMachine wrote:How do the quantization modes work on this new one? I've been getting abit confused with it.
No Q (default)
Chromatic (half-steps)
Whole steps
Diminished (minor thirds)
Augmented (major thirds)
Fifths and octaves
The Q setting resets to No Q after disconnecting power (for me at least). Whenever I plug in my board I usually just push the switch up once to put it back into 5ths and octaves since I use that most. Hope this helps.
hope you get it soon!kboman wrote:Argh. My CT5 was last reported as being at GBLALA, which apparently is Heathrow's international parcels division, on 12th february. I really want to get going with it!
