I really want to move to Denver, so much good music there. There's lots in Minneapolis but the metal scene seems to be smaller.

So I finally got around to listening to The Austerity Program, because they're on that last-gasp sampler HydraHead put out a couple years ago and holy shit did I do myself a serious disservice by not listening to them before.

Alessandro Cortini's solo synth stuff is great. He does wonders with relatively limited setups (i.e. a small number of excellent instruments/effects).
