I doubt it, Never. The FL-01 has KORG KLM-*** circuit boards (this Yamaha pedal series was developed by KORG). The FL-01 is the same as the KORG FLG-1, which I have. The other series that you have in mind is a completely different one by Yamaha (I don't know if they also developed those circuits, though). A quick Google picture search tells me that the other models have other circuits based on the MN3207 (FL-10M and FL-10MII) or MN3208 (FL-100). A difference in sound is very likely, especially the FL-100 with its 2048-stage BBD might get closer to the chorus territory.

Funny you ask, I was just checking that today to see if I could save on a couple small things. I haven't gotten emails about it and it doesn't look like they have any Labor Day discount, which is unusual. I feel like they usually do every year.

I think the covid's impact on the economy has been driving most US music retailers, especially the larger ones, to be more conservative with discounts - it certainly did on Memorial Day and the 4th.

Idiotbox Effects, however, is offering 25% off everything, which,

American Musical Supply just sent the same birthday coupon as they did last year, $20 off an order of $50 or more. Obviously a declining discount the more you spend, but I find it’s nice for getting a deal on accessories. I think you can get on the list for that one through their monthly contest. If your number isn’t up for 11 months, not so helpful, but not bad.
