We will be in an industrial arts center that will have studio spaces, practice spaces, a machine shop, a diesel repair shop, some offices, and us. I am so stupid excited to be a building with that kind of energy.
2016 is going to be quite a year

If feels so good after the summer we had to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
And congrats, Resin. That is great news. It is amazing when the pieces come together.

Today, my son turns 3. I haven't seen him in a year, but I know my ex-wife is taking good care of him. I love him so much. Happy birthday, Newton Marshall.

I'm so stoked about this week. I have so much planned it's crazy, I'm never this busy. Had a crazy fun weekend, tonight I had a delicious home cooked meal with a good friend, 3 roommate interviews tomorrow (I might actually move by November 1st!), 2 dates later in the week, hanging with a bunch of friends I've missed this past summer, might even throw in a Halloween party for good measure.
Getting a job again is going to suck

Have the house to myself for 2 weeks. Made myself a massive bowl of pasta and poured a beer, stoked.

Is Denver still the plan?

Unfortunately no. I really really really love Denver geographically and the city itself is awesome, but the music scene just doesn't seem to be there, which is a major reason I want to move. Like yeah there's jam bands/electronic acts that do the festival circuit, even some droney/ambient stuff, and a lot of awesome touring bands come through Denver, but it seems to be lacking in the kind of high energy fuzz rock ruckus I'd like to get down with. & being isolated in the mountains is a double edged sword, because it's beautiful and I certainly would enjoy being there, but it's the only major market music city for hundreds of miles in each direction. So Denver is kind of my "settle down" option for later I think.
Now, I've set my sights on Philly

I want to move north. I really want to live in Providence. Simply based on my love of noise rock and Lovecraft.

It's also probably one of the more affordable places in NE to live, not compared to the South but for here. When rent gets to high here (trashy burbs just north of Boston) I'll probably go that way
