my FuzzHuggers are still at the front of my Most Frequently Used Pedals. the Algal Bloom is heckin' classic, my 3-knob Nerison Great Wall is as thick as the LaBrea Tar Pits (which is a multilingual redundancy), and the Velcro(scillator)--it's stamped "VELCROAR" but has the third knob and second footswitch--is better than my Expandora for edge-of-insanity stuff. (did i just invent a new sub-genre?) i wish i could find a stand-alone Velcroar like the one i had in the 2000s before i sold it during the Great Purge, which was less frantic but incredibly versatile. i also sold one of the last Phantom Octaves, which was less essential but a whole lot of fun. i need to get an Ab-Synth (or its descendant) and/or a full-on Great Wall. i could happily fuzz with nothing but Tom's gear.

I feel an inexplicable pull to add YAFH even though I have several, including 3 customs (only one of which I ordered from Tom  ).
Fuzzhugger Acquisition Syndrome is real. :trippy:
Actually, I really want a Magic Meter for its inherent qualities and not just to acquire another Fuzzhugger. :snax:

one of these days i'm going to acquire a couple of ancient Chicago-made flat tops, one of the huge Kay jumbos and a Harmony Sovereign dreadnought with the string-through bridge. some of those suckers have one-piece mahogany backs. and having been born in the Windy City, as folks here say about killing Nazis "it's my heritage."

i'd also like to get hold of one of the Epiphone Mandobirds. Firebird pickups on high-pitched strings in double courses...what could go wrong? it could be like Seals and Crofts in Hell. and i see that as a positive outcome.

Captain Beefheart said the moment he saw fish he knew they had the scale department sewed up completely.

How 'bout this - I've heard of mystery meat, but this is maybe a little bit too grab-baggy:

Here's one you don't see often, probably a decent deal too given what the MIK ones have been bringing.
