I got over 15 minutes worth of recordings :yay:

Decided to take a day off in the midst of a particularly stressfull month. Feels good. Spent all day throwing insults at Super Mario Bros 3 while blasting Melt-Banana.

Well, I've been to a lot of electronic/noise concerts that sounded far, far less good than that. :animal:

I guess you got the sound arriving to you through different paths, reverberating over different surfaces, + maybe some stuff ended up oscillating a bit because of the noise, hence the noisy bursts ?

:thumb:

The noisy burst was actually some sort gas release for the engine I think, but yeah there was a ton of flat concrete around which bounced the sound all over.

This past week I've been anxious as fuck about not finding a job, about running out of money, about failing on this whole relocation thing...
but this morning I got two emails about job interviews. It's a really good way to start my day.

I've been here barely two weeks I need to chill the fuck out

Yes, I did! I almost forgot, because I found out about Paris literally a minute later. I love swag and I definitely need a koozy to keep my beer from sweating on my practice amp.

I got the guitar I traded for from xleroyx today and he included a curly Vox cable. He had no way of knowing what that would mean to me, but it really moved me. My very first guitar cable was a curly Radio Shack cable I bought for $15 back in 1997. I used it that whole time, but it was lost to time and space during my tumultuous year. Getting this curly cable at the same time as this guitar I am giving my girlfriend for Christmas really made me tear up.
