yar - it's nice, no doubt (played one in a store once and came close to inexplicable amp purchase incident), but no reason to jump to it from what you have....

The modern GA-15 is the Velocette repackage with a 12” speaker, Vintage 30 IIRC. Approximated AC-30 Top Boost sound in a simpler circuit. No cathode follower if I remember right. A friend used to gig the 10” speaker Trace version 20 years back and loved it, though not with our sorts of fuzz usage back then.

there seem to be two versions of the latter day GA-15s, both designed by T-E, but one UK made, the other in the USA, and different speaker sizes
i'd def go for the 1x12 for my porpoises
