I cook a lot too.
What I eat is a significant part of my life. It's the basis for my moods and my motivation. Sometimes, I base my whole sense of time on the number of drinks I've had. Food and drink are my raison d'etre, so maybe that's why I share so much about it (or maybe I'm boring).
Two types of people in this world: Eat to live or live to eat. I'm the latter (and getting fatter, teehee).

That reminds me of a time my friend tried to cook beef in a crockpot with dr. pepper. It was, as you would believe, the worst thing in the world.
