Yeah, he and I had a dual/dueling guitar partnership going on for some years. I was glad to have another guitarist in town that would go to places he did: we shared a mutual admiration for Beefheart, Chicago's weird heavies Mayor Daley, Old Time Relijun, Harry Pussy, and others.

I recorded a thing with a Tokai Talbo feeding a Driving Notion and Draume into a Mini and Cabzeus that was a sorta a tribute to his skewed empty spaces-style of playing: https://www.instagram.com/p/CFtoj_QJTJx/. He excerpted it for a video of his with my permission.

That's that brands business model basically. All Devi stuff...It's like $1000/month to license her wares, plus a percentage of the cut if you make a certain amount I believe.

I find the Devi Ever saga rather strange and depressing. This forum wouldn't exist without her.
