I guess we're playing with a national act in two weeks. They have a show the next day in town and wanted to set up a low key bar show. They got put in contact with the owner of a bar where we were scheduled to play that night.
Soooo that's cool.

That's neat, congratulations! Is there any resistance, or is everyone cool with it? Anyway, you're going to do a great job (based on my reading of your ramblings on a gear forum)!

Holy shit. The pedal that I sent out to France back in November that ended up being a pain and got lost in the mail randomly was outside my house when I woke up.
The fuck?

I didn't break down crying at or because of work today, which after the last week is basically winning the lotto.

Means USPS eventually found it, leaving the French Post's reputation for awesomeness untouched.

Australia Post is pretty terrible all around.

Got results for my first physical in [redacted] years, and somehow, against all odds, my body and organs are in perfect working order, with the exception of a vitamin D deficiency they gave me supplements for. I went in assuming it'd be a mess, so I'm over the moon happy right now.

Seriously, joking posts aside, my bosses are a couple who do this tired nice husband mean wife cliche, and I am fucking tired of the way she fucking talks to me like I am a kid. She really does make me cry. But, my boyfriend took me out to dinner, I took some medicine and I'm gonna take a bath and then he's coming over to watch a movie.
And I have to work on my days off this weekend, so I am putting the money toward a new synth for my tech/trance/noise project. Will I replace my long lost MKS-50? Will I get something new and exciting? Not sure.
Right now, life is about creating my own silver linings. (Little life under capitalism things)
