Even after the price increase you can still easily manage two with money left over unless you went full custom. I'd do that way before I'd ever consider throwing 7K at a Bean model. I'm not a Bean fanatic/collector though. I've seen a few guys online with plans to buy at least one.
Interested to see how they sell. I know EGC does fancy well done refurbs on a buncha original TBs that aren't cheap to start with. It's those guys that'll jump on a brand new offering at that price point.

Yeah I am interested to see as well.
I understand where a decent part of the cost in these comes from though- there is a ton more labor in milling out a solid chunk of aluminum to just a pan, then laying wood on top of it, and I wonder if Rita Bean is getting a cut of it as well?

I'd think she's getting a cut or rights have been purchased for a healthy sum.

Yeah. She seems to have been involved in the whole process which is pretty neat

Oh I thought they went up to 4k pretty much baseline, derp my bad. And yeah 7K for a bean model is nuts but you know people will order them, they probably got at least a handful of orders while at NAMM I'm sure. There's a few shops with big buying power that probably want a couple in stock to pitch to their higher end clientele. They are definitely amazing guitars, and I'm glad EGC is making them to correct specs but damn thats more than both of my cars put together and almost as much as my entire guitar rig.

Hahaha yeah, thinking about $7k and what else that money is as to what I own is nuts. But like you said I could see huge musicians buying them. Just like Chromeo has 2-3 of the regular EGC's now

And this is the 1000S? How much more does the 1000A cost then? Jeez.

Not sure on specific model prices but ordering direct they range from $6200-$6800, at least that's the price posted on FB. The dealers probably tack on extra.

Also, they're probably hoping to get more for serial # 1
