"From a smoke-free studio" - watched the Sound City doc earlier today and thought it was funny how people were drinking and smoking around the 75k (70's monies) Neve.

The stains and litter on the carpet around such a treasured item are also of an excellent contrast. Rad movie, need to rewatch that.

I've heard horror stories from engineers about having to clean out faders, pots etc that are completely gunked up with smoke/nicotine residue. That shit is the nastiest.

speaking of which, ive been wondering if I should just live with my hexe revolver tone knob crackling,or spray it... guess its gunk/ionized connection whatever...

doubt it...pregnant things smell of crazed hormonal activity..so that may be a lure..its like if you kill a deer or any animal when its frightened it will not taste as good because before it dies and is at rest its secretes adrenaline amonst other things that disrupt its flavor.
