welp - i have one and like it, but it is pretty much just a very nice sounding early digital delay, comparable to early DD3s or the nice old Arias imo, though not exactly the same flavor - still, a nice simple digital implementation with high quality analog support. The hold footswitch input holds out the possibility for DD3 style glitchiness, but i haven't been arsed to try it out

The really short delay times are nice for resonator/comb filter type applications. I'm more interested in the DM-01, which adds modulation of delay time to the mix, making it basically the same as the Ibanez DCF-10, which i love and miss. i think i missed the window on snagging one of those for cheap tho....

If I had to guess, other than it just looks cool...hold footswitch option
