Is it just the brands? Most of the people I know just drink cheap lagers, and I'm pretty much one of the only person I know who prefers dark heavy beers.
Anyone here try an oyster stout? I came across some and was rather perplexed, yet intrigued. I decided on something else, but I am still so very curious...

I have, though I can't remember enough of it to recommend it either way. It was a little... mineral-y? Maybe?

Yeah oyster stouts shouldn't be actually fish-y, it's more of a salty, maybe slightly sour note. It all comes from alehouses in england back in the 1800s that used to serve stout together with oysters so often that the two tastes because a paired thing.

A Left Coast Asylum Belgian Triple was consumed last night. At 12% ABV It got me feeling pretty good after I finished it. Pretty tasty but you could definitely feel the heat from the high alcohol content. Had Great Divide's 19th Anniversary Ale the other day. I was not a fan at all
Still up, for tasting, just sitting in my fridge, is a bomber of Chocolate Yeti (which I am sure will be delicious like all of the other Yeti variations I've tried) and a bomber of Steel Toe's Size 11 Triple IPA. I tried a sip of my roommate's Size 11 and found it to be absolutely delicious so I'm looking forward to that one.
