I almost cried on the phone at work tonight.
I reacted quickly and took charge of the conversation, but it was a terrible feeling.

Construction right behind my house lately.... I get to listen to backup beeping and bulldozers all day if I'm home....
I came home this evening and the assholes broke the water main, so we have no water. I filled as many tubs and pitchers as I could, but we're not gonna get any more.
The city sprayed for mosquitoes today to avoid west nile, but the spray is toxic and basically fatal to cats and fish......

I feel ever so slightly like making a molotov coktail or something.

I also feel like asking the city for compensation for NOT EVEN ALERTING US O THE FACT THAT THEY FUCKED OUR SHIT UP. Ass-HOLES.

This has been my morning, every morning, for months. They were using jack hammers at 6am a few days ago. Yesterday it was circular saws.

waiting one more day to hear from the job which i interviewed for. they're supposed to decide by the end of the week. if it's not happening, i'm out of here. and i'm scared to death.

My brother who was the catalyst to me losing my home, several years of worry and trauma couldn't find it in him to even say happy birthday on my facebook....
