Koala is fantastic for improv and off the cuff sketches, since everything is immediate and performance oriented; Flip requires more time and set up, but it's a lot deeper and lets you get more precise. If you have an iPhone/android Koala is so great for just playing while doing other stuff, the interface still being easy to use on a smaller screen. Flip is universal too, but so much more cramped.
