i would say that if you have the space yeah, it's pretty unique, i like it enough to where i know it'll stick around, though i know people who liked it but dumped it for it's size. that being said, i'm gonna add another 6ux104 hp so i can prob find the space to keep it in my system.

I already know my next step is selling a couple of the modules that I don't use as much and buying a Rene, Optomix, and Phonogene (+ a 104hp case). Any reason you took the Phonogene out of yours?

1989 Yamaha V50, took me a while to learn how to use the damned thing, but was very happy once I did. Has great sounds and endless customization. Haven't gone down the MIDI tunnel yet with it and might avoid doing so for some time. Nails the 80s pad sounds I need.

is real-estate really an issue for modulars?
I always figure the point is that it can always just grow in size!

Power and cases are expensive.
They can be DIYed but I would be hesitant to DIY a PSU personally, just because the thought of ruining all of my modules is scary.

It can always grow in size but for anyone who wants to perform that becomes an issue. Also like delta said cost on psu's is crazy

when you have room for 16hp you can choose a new compact module to finish it or you can get a not so compact module and a new $400 case. its lazyness. also people that travel a lot or take it on the bus.

Got a clip this time.
404 only used for recording, DD7 only used for looping.

This was just a one shot what the hell kind of deal but I quite like it.
Might try to use it for something later.
