Last night I was jamming with a great drummer and an amazing sax player who ran his sax trough alot of pedals and into an amp.

Crazy music and crazy loud!

This reminds me of the Spaceheads. I saw them live once a bit more than 15 years ago and they were really awesome. Drums and sax through effects, too.

Edit : also, there was a nice article on Wired today about what I've been working on recently...

I do this! My band is currently on hiatus while our drummer is in Peru, but we're a quartet of drums, two bassists (one played trumpet occasionally), and myself on effected saxophone. I only have a shitty contact mic that's duct taped inside the bell, but it's surprising what you can do with that and some pedals.

In case you missed the news this summer... we have some good news for visitors to Roadburn from outside of Tilburg! After some careful negotiating with local authorities, we can confirm that non-Dutch residents will be able to gain access to Tilburg's coffee shops and can legally purchase marijuana products - as long as they are wearing a Roadburn wristband!

We're well aware that this part of our culture is appealing to visitors and we're very happy to be able to include you during Roadburn 2017. The city of Tilburg has always been very welcoming to Roadburners, and this is yet another extension of that welcome. Tilburg has several recommended coffee shops and we're sure locals will happily point you in the right direction. So, if you like, you can now go forth, smoke and have a good time!

I don't really know why, but the two things that have been giving me major trouble lately, car not working and phone not sending texts, seem to have resolved themselves magically today.
