While we're still (sorta) on African music, I think this album is just the cat's meow and/or pyjamas.

It's three LPs and I listen through the entire thing more often than not.

Pattons a blowhard... They just played here and the median age of the crowd was about 43 so... I dislike all his side projects as they are self indulgent fodder and I grew up with that crap... Some peoples success and allure will always evade me... :idk:

I'm not going to play dumb or anything, I get what you're getting at, but really, what is inherently wrong with this? I saw John Prine and the median age was probably 50. He killed it.

I think that's a shitty attitude. You'll be old someday and probably still into the music you're into now.

Plus, 55 is hardly that old nowadays. 40 is the new 20. They say a baby born today will live to see 120 average.
