Background checks always take forever--I have to get one every year, since I move from state-to-state. Nothing to be worried about.

I was pulling out of a shopping center and this dude in a truck hit me as I was crossing the turn lane.

Even though the police said he entered the turn lane way too early given his destination, it was ultimately ruled to be my fault because of failure to yield. At least they didn't give me a ticket or citation.

So now I'm gonna be out $500 for my insurance deductible, my car is fucked up, and my insurance is going to go up. Woo fucking hoo.

I had to go through that twice this year. First was on my honeymoon when my wife didn't see the pillar of the parking garage i parked next to and it ripped my bumper off. The second was on the way to work when I got into a fender bender. First one spiked my insurance as a 40% increase, the second one didn't do anything, luckily.

suspended, as in "i didn't have the money to finish paying my fines after i left California." the stuff i got in the mail said my license "may" be suspended. there's no way to find out on line that i could find.

Yo, I've noticed this. Sup with that? Work related thing? Or just for laughs? I'm just curious because I've never lived outside Texas aside from like, age 3 to 5.

Both--Some of it is state-to-state bureaucratic red-tapey slowdown, and it also seems to be something that people like Human Resources or whoever can drag ass on if they feel like it.

I just spilled a bunch of food on my keyboard at work right before I got on a call and needed to be typing.
Even if I didn't break the keyboard (seems functionally fine), it's gonna smell forever.

Such a klutz.
