i may be in huge trouble. i sent what i thought was a relatively innocuous e-mail to the new employer outlining what the delay in sending me the relocation money--which is held up pending the background check--could do to my ability/time of getting to Virginia. Apparently this was taken as demanding and unappreciative of what they've done on my behalf, and the guy who set everything up won't even talk to me. i can't believe it's going down this way, and there's nothing i can do about it except wait and see what they decide. needless to say, i'm terrified and heavily sedated. if this falls through i have nowhere to go and no future. oh, fuck.

I got a text from the guy i need to talk with...he wants to talk tomorrow. i feel much better knowing he's not so angry as to preclude conversation. i'm going to try to go back to sleep now because there's nothing else to do.

I think it's a bit strange that I have to file this one under "apathy," but I am officially single again. I feel pretty numb to it right now, but I'm sure I'll have some mourning in the near future. A weird thing happened, too. The now ex-girlfriend was having old feelings for another guy come up, and then today, as if on cue, someone I've had feelings for in the past came in to my work to say hello to me..... What gives, life?
