Just wrapped up my work week. 32 hours in the last 3 days. Plus 25 more earlier in the week. All waiting tables. All running my ass off. Now I'm sitting on the couch in my underwear and a wifebeater smoking a well deserved bowl and watching pedal demos.

A guy wanted to sell his KORG Poly-61 synthesizer through an online ad, declared as defective, because of faulty key contacts. I asked him if he could give my e-mail address to the next owner so that I can provide advice how to make the rubber contacts work again with the simple use of graphite spray. The owner wrote back after a while - absolutely happy, because through my message he was able to repair this synth (that he couldn't play properly in the last ten years) with an ordinary pencil. For several years he has searched for affordable replacement contact strips and after all that time he wanted to sell the unit this morning.
