Just wow. So much wow.
A legend!
When Andy Warhol died (and that's a whole other story when they re-examined the case file) he had not 1, not 2, not 100 or 200, but 600 boxes marked "Stuff".
And he wasn't like a Jeffree Star or something... it was literally 'stuff' he collected. Living the dream.

Theres a homeless pillbilly who won't stop saying I look like her ex and keeps on trying to dance with me sitting beside me and shes a nice lady so I'm too uncomfortable to be rude

Update: I danced with her, then when one of her friends showed up, I hid in the kitchen for an hour until she left

So honest question, a now sober friend is trying to record something new, but sold all his equipment to afford (voluntary) rehab. He asked if he could borrow some of the equipment I'm selling until it sells, should I do it?

how sure are you of his committment to sobriety? one wants to be supportive, but i'd hate to see your gear wind up sold off for another go at the pipe.

He's been sober for about a year, only gear he has is an old Harmony acoustic I rebraced. I'm more concerned about him fucking it up really, thats a chunk of change neither of us can afford. Nonetheless, I feel a bit responsible for my enabling behavior, so guilt

It’s really weird visiting a foreign country where you don’t speak the language when you are already living in a foreign country where you don’t speak the language.

My life feels like a strange and constant dream, nothing feels real anymore. Reality’s too weird.

When you get back to the States (if, rather) it's going to feel weird too so just embrace the weirdness.

Why not say that and offer one piece of gear. One of my best friends is a yr sober and he is mr together these days. Helping him w a positive project is a good way to return some gratitude. But be honest about your concerns. He will.appreciate it

My friend said she'd be willing to pay my reverb bill, so I'm trying to figure out, should someone on Reverb buy my JCM, how to ship it without being unreasonable. The amp itself weighs about 53-55 pounds, and I haven't even packed it to see the weight (I haven't shipped an amp before, but I'm guessing it's going to be at least 20-ish more pounds after, right?), but does anyone know what the price would be for shipping it? I've been looking at UPS and FedEx rates for rough estimates, and both say $100+, which seems a bit crazy.
