I'm loving my 8 string.. I built some great guitar pedals recently, and I got the permanent position at my work I applied for. Things could be much worse.

Nice, I have been playing so much of my 7 string that anything else just doesn't feel as good.

Finally figured out the perfect pizza recipe.

And made 4 pizzas so I have enough to last...a day.
Also, I got my dad some Pizza Hut pizza because I tend to take forever to make pizza and do so very late, and I have no idea how I ever managed to eat their "food".

At practice today, we realized that one song that wasn't getting good reception works well if we change it to have a disco/dance-punk feel.
Now I'm bouncing on those octaves for daaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyysssssssssssssssss.

It's definitely in the air. I want to make grimy, sweaty, dancey shit too.
Recommended bands for inspiration?

This would be the second incarnation of that. Like having nostalgia for the nostalgia people were having in 2004 (which I'm really into this idea by the way

)
@friendship - LCD Sound System, LIQUID LIQUID, New Young Pony Club, THE UNITS, Devo, a couple of New York No Wave compilations, to some extent THE KILLS (this is off the top of my head).
I also really like this band off Night People Records FEATURELESS GHOST. I have a weird nostalgia for all bands that were doing synthy stuff in 00's and prior the analog resurgence and euro boom.

i am either about to get fired or find myself on a conference call with corporate and management, as they try to appease me for what i just called them out on. either way it's gonna result in unemployment or a raise and more exemptions at work. so win win either way. also, if they fire me they're really just shooting themselves in the foot anyways.

i basically called all my managers shit by sending guitar center an article about elon musk firing all his managers on linked in.
and i'm gonna do the office space routine if/when they sit me down.
tell them how i do all the work, even though the work is a joke. tell them that i have to coordinate associates because the managers are fucking useless. and all in all, i'm just the guitar tech.
