Just woke up, had a panic attack and threw up.
I'm now pacing around my room and I just want someone to tell me I'm okay.

Maybe the cold weather did it in during shipment.

double check with them that they are using it correctly, i've had buyers try using pedals with stereo cables and things like that.
check they are using the right power supply and not plugging in to the exp pedal input by mistake

I'm laid up for the next two days. I'm going to be bored out of my mind.

Oh, and I'm incredibly close to getting fired from my job. Good thing I have lots of time now to apply for new ones.

Damn. Lots of apathy today. All I want to do is draw something but nothing sounds fun. Plus my arm hurts. It was fine last night and this morning, then an hour or so ago, it started hurting pretty good for no reason. And it's swollen. Sigh. I've give the drawing one more chance then it's more video games, and probably more apathy. Then work. Groan.

I feel like single women don't exist anymore. Everywhere I go, there are guys, and there are couples. No single women. What the hell happened?

i'm lonely and miserable and have no Internets until Thursday. I should have called them sooner...then i'd have something to do at night other than lay in bed with my cat and think too much. I should be busily unpacking my stuff, but i'm emotionally paralysed too much to mess with it. I can barely even cook food...I feel like i'm reverting to the way I felt in Pocatello other than that i'm apparently excelling at work. all I want to do is hide.

When you've been fucked up for a while, so too does it take a while to get un-fucked. You're on the right path now.

Hang in there dub. Like Achtane said, you're on the right path, you've just gotta get comfortable enough to unwind a bit

I told someone the other day that I should be back to normal functionality by summertime. I was just SO messed up the latter part of being in Pocatello, and little things get overwhelming to me.

my employer is hooked up with a University of Virginia employee assistance program, and i'm going to see one of their therapists next week.

Good deal. Plus, it'll get warmer soon, which should help.

yeah, the cold overwhelms me.

it's much warmer at the place I live now...it's actually warm enough to take a shower in the morning if I use the space heater to warm the bathroom overnight. now I just have to care enough to take a shower.

Keep fightin through dub, you're in a great place to start feeling better and you seem to be on your way.

I've been couch surfing for a couple days here and probably will be for another week or two while the mold in my walls is being dealt with.

Thank god for some good friends reaching out and giving me a hand.

Yeah I had him double check some things but no dice. Ended up refunding him the cost of sending the pedal in for repairs, because it seemed less of a hassle than accepting a return and filing a claim with USPS. Who knows, maybe the pedal was fine all along and I got scammed. The guy had a bunch of 100% positive feedback, so probly not, but there's no way for me to know for sure.

It mostly worked out, but I don't think I'll be using eBay again anytime soon.

So I can't go snowboarding tomorrow because of a snowstorm.
(that really reads as "first world problems")
