Thanks dudes! Played out with it yesterday and it's dreamy. It's really crazy how different the two guitars are, in a good way.
I don't think I can coax a bad sound out of either if I tried

I have been having fantasies for an EGC style Telecaster Deluxe. That would be super rad.

A guy was selling one awhile back for a really fair price. Think it was on PDX Craigslist but it's posted in this thread somewhere as well. Dark red/maroon finish with polished neck. I'm not a fan of red but it looked pretty slick.

What's the finish on the yellow wood bodied one? Nitro or Poly?
Any preference on the raw/brushed vs the polished neck in terms of feel? I love the feel of my brushed anodized neck but polished seems to be the way most people go when ordering an EGC. Just curious on your thoughts now that you've acquired one of each...

The resale on EGC's. I knew a guy that had to sell his right after getting it and it wasn't anything crazy or custom and he got killed on it. I've been thinking about maybe selling my V so I can get a fretless VI that I've got in mind.

How come there are so few EGC's with tremolo? I've been thinking that a whammy bar combined with the properties of an aluminum neck would be sick, but there is rarely an EGC seen with one. Obviously you can't make the whole construction with the strings going through the same piece of aluminum at the bridge if you use f.ex. a Bigsby, but would that really be such a difference?

He has put Bigsby's on his guitars in the past
