Fish & Chips is pretty good in there, I also like the DOD fx75b flanger (turn up the trimpots and it will oscillate and get spacey) the DOD fx57 Hard Rock Distortion (built in slapback delay, has a trim to adjust time but I havent touched mine). I also like my rat in the loop since it will produce a constant feedback, but I really like the cheapo starcaster distortion for the same reason plus it has lots more eg options to tune the feedback. All (except maybe the rat) are available generally for under $40, sometimes way under, I think paid about $25 for either of my DODs.

ibanez DE-7 could do the trick too, and it aready sounds good by itself.
as wah in feedback loop, DOD FX17 is dirt cheap and more synth like than cry babie or vox, really close to zvex wah soundwise. and it's annoying volume job is sometimes a pro than con in feedback loop...imo

anybody used one of these cheap guyatone delays? if it'll do the job id definitely rather pick up something like that than plunk down the $$ for a carbon copy. i guess i should probably go with a used digitech or boss delay than something expensive... i try to keep tonesuckers like that outta my rig but i guess it doesn't matter so much for this. i've got a nice little a/b/y box to cut the whole thing in and out of the chain as necessary.
thanks for all the help folks

i've never used the guyatone delay - but i do have the micro chorus and micro flanger and have been pleased with both. the micro chorus is still on my board for vibrato-like swirlies. i know a guy who was really tickled with the delay, so much so that he ditched his boss to buy a second guyatone.

i will say that the first chorus i had from guyatone had a faulty switch, and i understand that's not totally uncommon, so if you go with that make sure you get it from some place with a good return policy.
