Squier Jaguar problems

I really love the stock squier spacing. All the strings are almost perfectly straight and parallel down the neck.
I'm gonna wrap some stuff and see how it works out, it sounds like the tone advantage of a Mastery is something I need. I can't stand the tiny plink I get out of it sometimes

Shim the neck, raise the bridge. Fixed.

I have two VM Jags, and two VM Jazzies. All four buzzed like mad. Shimmed the necks and raised the bridges - problem solved on all four. Try it, and add Teflon Tape for good measure.
