That was possibly the most fun skate part I've watched.
I was excited and laughing while watching. I love that feeling.

Started skating in the late 70s stopped in th early 90s. Would love to get back into it. Though the mind is willing but the flesh is weak. We have some awesome mountain roads here, so I'd love to get myself a long board and tackle them. Would be fun but I would probably kill myself doing it. :picard: I'm so unfit.

i can't skate, but i love skateboarding and skate videos.

i kinda got into them when we started going on tour. the amount of ppl we stayed w/ who had a dope skate video collection was astounding.

its kinda like my barometer for gauging the situation & ppl we are staying w/ now. if i see skate videos on the shelf or on the tube, i know we are in good hands and w/ good ppl.

hasn't failed me yet.

Makes sense. Skaters are good people. And they know how to party.

yeah man, skaters are cool...i got a good amount off my Super Bass because i put in a low offer to the seller, and later he told me that he agreed to the price because he saw my Jason Jesse avatar.

I saw this video the other day...made me laugh so hard. My wife and I were watching thinking, this is going to me when i start skating again...

Oh man that's how I feel now -- compounded by the fact that some of my shredding friends are a lot older then me (like real old. Like in their mid-to-late 30's old. ancient.) and absolutely crush it on skateboards. I get comparatively useless when my feet aren't strapped in.

It's the rollerblades on the side that really make it.

I mean, not hating on anyone for doing something they enjoy, but I put rollerblading, scootering and stand up paddleboarding in the same hole where aesthetics don't shine, and why would you risk slamming if you're not even going to look cool while you do it?

I used to skate a poop ton. Like, everyday. But in the past year, I got rid of my friends and skateboarding isn't really fun alone.

As a rollerblader for 16 years now, I'm pretty used to this outlook on my sport, especially hanging on other US-based forums. Except for a few grumpy old skatboarding geezers, we don't have that hate between different kinds of wheeled extreme sports here in Norway as you do in the US. My buddies are rollers, skaters and BMXers, and I've watched a shit ton of these videos and I love it all.

People haven't been exposed to rollerblading since the 90's, and if they have it's in the form of recreational rollerblading. Aesthetics-wise I'm fine with people thinking it looks weird, the same way I'm fine with 95% of people not understanding my pull towards noisy pedals and music. I picked up a pair of skates because it looked more fun to me than skateboarding. It gave me more control and hence a greater possibility to go bigger, faster and in my opinion; express myself better by letting me use my whole body to a much greater extent than a skateboard would.

In my book, this looks fun and has a great flow to it.

And this up-and-comer has my attention. Goes biiiiiig! Last trick :animal:
