Outside at the dumpster at my second job, we get these guys. There is one in particular who is a great listener... but he's timid. His name is ERNT, not ERNST. His parents forgot the "S" so it's ERNT. He's my friend IRL.

When I see him walk, usually a tune by THE ANIMALS plays in my head. Either "San Francisco Nights" or "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood".

I sincerely appreciate you respecting the thread. Thank you! But in this case, as long as it's THE SAME TYPE OF BIRD in the picture, a picture with multiple birds (of the same type is acceptable). Your picture very well could have been, NOT a bird. In which case, again, thank you for respecting the spirit of this thread.

Elderly neighbour across the street. She sees you buying more beer than you probably should in the middle of the day but she never says anything, just nods at you and lets you get on with it, you never feel judged. Yesterday as you parked your '98 Camry and carried your two-four of Lech into the bungalow she gave the the nod like normal, but raised a G&T and smiled. You aren't friends or anything and you won't be, but she gets it and you'll spend the rest of the day thinking a bit about her and will think fondly of her when she dies.

I haven't been doing much there, I only post good things and cool stuff I'm doing or seeing.. no one needs to see the shit crap but anyway birds..

Being from the west coast and living in the southwest for a time I've seen a lot of them. They sometimes fly other my roard looking for roadkill.. One of my funnier memories as a kid was we were driving to Tonto bridge and we saw what we thought was a bald eagle, soaring majestically through the clear blue sky. as the van got closer we saw that it was not a eagle. Not even a bald one. but a turkey vulture flying around with a styrofoam coffee cup. Sadly we will never know why that turkey vulture was flying around with a styrofoam coffee cup...
