also, wondering if there could be a ebow like setup available. as an alternative to the Fernandez Sustainer models.
that, would end all things holy in the world.

Right now I've got 2 strats, a jazzmaster, an offset V, and an ibby sabre. Compound radius necks are the shit.
But really, my favorite bodies are teles and explorers. Someday...(those new squiers are tempting)
I'd love a baritone tele, maybe with a p90 in the neck.

I rock a Jag, and an Epiphone Dot (335?).
I was thinking yesterday about what type of guitar i would want from DC. It would have to be a six string telecaster bass with a jaguar tremolo, similar to the thundercatz but I only need two pickups.
For colous, ANYTHING but sunburst, all my guitars are sunburst, I grow tired of it. I'm not a big fan no-solid colour guitars, bursts are okay, but I fucking hate that tiger finish.
LIke this:

i really like a neck thru, i am playing the hell out of my gibson firebird! i love those mini humbuckers...
i am a sucker for doubled strings! my only acoustic is a 12 string seagull with a cedar top. i would love an electric 12 string. i play a bc rich 10 string bich a lot, also another neck thru! i also have a six string mockingbird that is neck thru...
i really like the les paul supremes! the fat necks on those are awesome and i love the carved back. having a chambered chunk of mahogany in the middle really gives out great tones! it has more of a curve on the fret board which i dont like so much and the frets are a bit big when compared to the les paul customs...
i prefer humbuckers. i like a neck and a bridge that have their own volume and tone knobs. i have a friend wire them with push pull pots to split coils, run them in series, and to reverse phase. i would rather have separate switches for this, but i am not about to start drilling holes in my guitars...
i like the satin finish more than a gloss on the neck. i have never had any tongue oil finishes...
have a great day!

SPACERITUAL's got it down. Something about the Iceman is just fucking awesome.
I play an LP Studio myself, but I did like the feel of the baritone jaguar when they were still around. Perhaps a Dwarfcraft Bass VI-like guitar is in order. I mean, it's not like Fender is making any more of them, plus it would fit with Dwarfcraft's bass craziness.

I has a sustainer. It would be cost prohibitive to try to replicate it. It really is a pretty stunning piece of engineering.
These are pretty exciting ideas, also surprising how we're thinking a lot of the same things (trems, p90s, big necks)

what about leaving room for buying a sustainer pup and such from Fernandez? I only have an ebow right now so I'm not sure how they fit all together with the pup either way bigneck barritone love would satisfy me

One of our ideas is a 2xp90 guitar with a jag style tremm, but we wont be copying any bodies or headstocks

Damn, oh well. What did you have in mind for bodies?
