Nice! I liked that one a lot.

Been going through Robin Hobb's realm of elderlings series for the past couple months.

Really enjoyed the Assasin triology.

I started to re-read all the Discworld books in order since there's no more and it'd been so long since I read the first couple.
Currently at #7, "Guards, Guards."
Once I'm through the main run, I'll read the Tiffany Aching ones and end on his last book which I've never read.

Probably my favorite author ever for the impact he's had on my life and thoughts. There are other books I like more for their literary quality but his wit and fundamental kindness will forever be an inspiration.

In another year or so I will be doing the same (and I plan to do it every so often throughout my life). Have a complete collection and kind of can't wait.

If you haven't read Nations, I'd have to suggest that you fast track it to the start. It's written as a 'young adult' novel, but it was fantastic and like most of his writing really transcends out of "fantasy" and into something much deeper.

I'm excited for when my kids have another year or two done and I can force them to read it. I think when I closed it the first time, I'd decided it was quite possibly the most important book I'd ever read and promptly went off to share it. I haven't seen my copy in years, and I hope that everyone who's had it since I bought it got to experience the same thing I did.

Don't worry, already read all his books. :thumb: I did enjoy that one a lot.

Now will start his new one I think, Revenger

Nice! I keep meaning to read more Reynolds, have only read Pushing Ice which I looooooved.

Currently reading Hyperion (finally) on my brand new Kobo Aura because I'm sick of books piling up around my flat and it feels a bit wasteful having so many when I could have thousands in one tiny device.

Pushing Ice is great, but House of Suns is a masterpiece. Find it!

The other recommendation is his Revelation Space series (5 books, a couple hit or miss, but mostly hit), and Terminal World was also amazing.

I did like House of Suns, his best I think, you're right. I also like Chasm City, for the social commentary and the psycho dolphin. The mulch and the canopy. I think about it sometimes, driving around Tacoma.
