That's pretty much what I figured.
What a fucking farce.
We haven't copped it down here, yet, so I've gone from seeing most of my stuff leave LA then arrive here, to Kentucky....that's it.
Thanks man

So has anyone cmplaned to eBay and called bullshit on this, in a public, large scale manner?

Fuck eBay.

I just got an email the other day saying they're gonna start charging final value fees including postage as well... because sellers that offer free postage are missing out and people should be encouraged to offer free postage..

So yeah, we should all just suck up the $10+++ it costs to send things to people and then pay an extra 10% on it straight to eBay. Because that isn't financially crippling when you're selling things on a regular basis, and used gear isn't already so expensive on there already because we have to adjust pricing to accommodate the fees.

:erm:

I've been getting charged 10% of my shipping since I started selling...

That is some grade A horseshit right there.
Soooo, how long before everyone stops using the bay?
What's the alternative? There must be one in this day and age.

http://www.reverb.com

I just bought a drum machine there and everything seems legit just without all the fees.

Best part is that it's just for used gear.

still sick with worry about the work stuff. i have nothing to do while they're prepping the battle space, which makes it worse. and the guy who got me the job here wants me to go with him to a gig with his jazz trio tonight, which i really would prefer not to do but feel kind of pressured to do. i was just settling into the relatively simple aspects of the job as i found it, and now all this. i want to go home and hide under the covers with my cat.

I miss fuzz so much  It's been really hard not having music as a coping skill while traveling.
Only 4/5 more days...

I want to do nothing but sleep and marathon Dexter.

I'm not participating in the rest of the world until, like, 6pm tomorrow at the earliest.

2 FUCKING MORE rejection letters came in today, this time to Clemson and Florida. 0 and 6 with no word from 2. I guess this is why they tell you to apply to a lot.

Worst of all, I'm on antibiotics so I can't even drink tonight.

Hang in there dubs  I mean, as much as it sucks to play music you don't want to play it's always fun playing with other people.

It sucks right now, but it'll work out. Some places announce those decisions separately, if they do they let you know faster whether or not you're accepted. I think if they announce them together it takes longer for them to let you know what's happening. So don't lose hope yet!
