Yeah these live versions are killer. Rockpalast used to come on public access or some shit when i was a kid and they played this show alooooooot. i got really upset when i bought the albums and the studio versions were different and not as good.

Those dudes were so fuckin good

Killer musicians, dude has some crazy good voice, weird but catchy songs. Every time I listen to The Hurting or Big Chair in some nice headphones I'm amazed at how awesome the recording sounds, I think they're the most well recorded albums I've ever heard. Everything sounds huge and theres so much space between everything but its not reverb drenched.
Rockpalast has the coolest shit.

Speaking of LinnDrums, I want one so fucking bad. I wish they weren't so goddamn expensive... I know there are plenty of sample libraries out there but it's gotta be so fun to use the real thing. So many good records used them... a stellar example among many:
