God, today has been fucking horrible. roofers working on the building here created all kinds of wonderful noise and then used some glue on the foam roof that had everyone flashing back to high school. they brought in a fan which i believe was salvaged from a World War I fighter plane to try and move the stench out, but it was only partially effective. and when you combine the effects of the glue with the effects of my medication problems...well, let's just say i'm surprised i didn't throw up in my wastebasket. the meds problem seemed worse today as well. i just want to go home and go to bed. but the fucking medication adjustments make it so if i go to sleep early i wake up at 5AM. I hate being alive, i really do. and i especially hate the way a little ray of sunshine distracts you with its lies. i wish i could go to sleep and never wake up.

Maybe that's where we need to check.
I just had this image of all of us on a pirate ship swinging across to another pirate ship on ropes with cutlasses drawn. I'm not exactly sure where that came from.
Whatever caused it, obviously we're all down.

I don't know how to write a song anymore. I just noodle and noodle and nothing piques my interest enough to develop. I try different instruments and different methods and nothing. I feel like I don't even know what music is anymore. I don't know the difference between writing a good tune and recording road construction. It doesn't seem to matter f I do either, or nothing at all. How does anyone make music in 2014?

Just run some road construction clips through like 5 DS-1s and a DD-3 and you'll be Lil' Merzbow

Oh, man. I have that happen to me all the time. It's like I don't know what kind of music I enjoy any more, or what sounds good.
Make songs out of stuff you don't like anyways. Just keep creating, man. You'll get out of your funk.

Ha ha, I feel like that is an accurate representation if the dudes around here came across their female counterparts.

Achtane stole my quote all preemptive Soni style...
I record Dove and traffic noise and in a month or two I can add cicadas to the mix...

Why would you post a Craigslist ad looking for people to play music with if you arent going to respond to any emails?
On paper, this person seems perfect. "Big Black meets MBV meets Drive Like Jehu."
RESPOND TO MY FUCKING EMAIL.

People that just read books and espouse how they don't watch TV are fucking hypocrite assholes. Just because you read a lot doesn't mean you're not reading a bunch of bullshit. Humans make books, humans make TV, ergo get over yourself and come down here with the rest of us you fucking fucks.
Also
I hate "festivals". And by "festivals" I mean those long lines of tents where people are selling tye dye tapestries and rock jewelry and fucking bags like they're some kind of artisan community gathering at a sanctuary. You fucking assholes. I know you bought all this shit from a fucking distributor. Why don't you go hang out at walmart to pedal your wares you chiseling fucks.

Dude! be glad you didn't pay that much for an anti-nautilus. Cloudscapes quoted it for way less on the sonic crayon FB than that was going for.

1. Disagree. Reading is a very active experience, while television is a very passive one.
2. Agree. Hate that shit. Spending money to get in for the chance to spend more money! And all the bands always SUCK.
