I had to break so a mink could cross the road from my neighbors property, it was clearly up to mink busyness

Just saw The Venture Bros. & Metalocalypse are getting finale movies and messed my self a little.

The synth repair shop in Bavaria finally found the technical fault after having my KORG Trident mkI on their workbench for exactly one year now. My unit had a strange problem after I overhauled and recapped it seven years ago (PWM signals flowing into the filter section after 45 minutes). I spent hours, days and weeks throughout the years to find the fault and it did also leave the owner of the repair shop no peace - he wanted to send it to me in perfect condition, come what may ... So the people in South Germany obviously received another working synth to compare it with my faulty instrument.

I don't know yet what was wrong (I'm going to be informed tomorrow) and what it will cost me (the repair costs I had in mind were already exceeded on day one on the workbench), but I'm happy that I can soon play this majestically sounding huge beast again!

I'm particularly psyched lately because after a year of being burned out at work, I took things into my own hands and changed jobs. I'm now in my third week and this was such an amazing move! I am able to crush this role and still make a nice living and now have time for my family and to bleep bloop and I am not walking around like a ball of angry stress. Feels great to breathe again!

Oh yeah, and locally covid has all but vanished so that's been pretty awesome too!

Jamming on my EVH eddie striped strat yesterday for over two hours.

I have never been so in love with playing music, everything feels so different. I don't even care if I can play well - just as long as I am playing I can make something work.

You guys are a huge part of it thank you for making me love music and love playing music ( for a 3rd time around!)

the feeling when you wait for the mic preamp you want to buy to come up used on reverb, but it doesn't for 2 years, and then when it finally does for a good price you lowball offer it even lower and its accepted immediately... heres to hoping it arrives safely...
