a beautiful beer. There is a place four blocks from where I work that always has pliny on tap…oh look, it's raining outside in Portland. I should go have a beer to remember what spring and summer feel/smell like...

All I've got here at the moment is Ol Standby: Yuengling. I'd kill for a nice saison or sour right about now.

Any homebrewers on here? I'm thinking about brewing a newcastle clone.

Decided to give this one a try:

Magic Hat Pistil dandelion ale
Pleasantly surprised as I assumed it would be hoppier than it is. I am decidedly not a fan of overly hopped beers (a rampant plague in the US!!) so it has been a long time since I drank anything similar to this and thus it's quite nice. It feels a little flat in the mouth, but I think that's because you get a hint of the tangy hop bitterness and then it doesn't overwhelm the flavor like you're expecting.
This would/will be great in the summer!

Haha, when I went back home last Thanksgiving I had a Yuengling for the first time in probably a couple years. I think the west coast has spoiled me a bit because it tasted like the brew made a detour through a tire.
Does anyone else prefer bottled besides me? Because, it seems like 80% of my draft beer interaction is really sub-par compared to bottled.

Love dem hops.
Just finished an Erdinger: Fuck, that was boring.
Nearly done with this Weihenstephaner: big improvement.
Coming up next is a Schofferhofer.
And I'm gonna watch a movie.
Not sure if I wanna watch a Mad Max, Evil Dead, or Conan.
Mad Max II is ahead at this point.
