Watching that kind of shit can really fuck up a good high. The election circus in the u.s sounds like it is worse than in oz. And it sucks here big time here. I've been voting for 25 years. I have just had enough of all the bullshit. Politicians have forgotten the fundamental rule. That is that they are supposed to be representing the people. Not the big businesses and the religious leaders.

Yeah unfortunately you have to do a lot more than vote in America to do anything worthwhile politically. In the presidential elections here voting doesn't even do anything since the electoral college gets to pick. Even at that Congress is where most of the problems are. I'm hopeful that humanity will outgrow corruption, but it might take longer than our lifetimes.

It is corrupt like that here too. What is worse is that here we have compulsory voting. You get fined if you don't show up to vote. I'm rebelling against that crap. They keep sending me fines. I keep filling those fines under G for garbage bin.
