So this is the official ruling on which guitars were in fact mine:

The original fuckup guitar that was mailed to me was serial number 777. That one was sold later for like a thousand dollars and never seen again. It looks kinda like Evans but really derpy and the knob is placed really oddly.

The second one that caused all the commotion was 695. I am about 100% this was a reject neck from a previous build as there were many many shitty things about it. Most notably the headstock had an almost razor sharp ass edge on it, there were many fuckups around the tuner routings, and the nut was wider than the neck by several mm. I remember him selling it for $1500 or something on the EGC site but he may have just trashed the neck and reused the body and pickup for Evans guitar. Either way I'm positive after the fiasco he at least took care of some of the fuckups before he sent it back out but if you see it for sale anywhere id be cautious.

The one Evan and Sergio had was serial number 934. It apparently had a denison neck too. So theres that.

Obstructures are heavy as shit. When I had my old one it was between 12-15 pounds
Think my EGC is probably around 12 lbs. Not sure why it ended up so heavy. All aluminium. I chose the thick neck option, so I guess that may be part of it.[/quote]

Weighed mine at weekend, and it's 10.4lb not 12. Guess i just need to man the fuck up lol.

Haha honestly, I bought a peavey t-25 this week, and I was like "shit, I don't remember wood guitars being so light." Its funny because people say peavey's are mad heavy. I sometimes think about wanting to change and get a wood guitar again or just a cheaper guitar in general because I fear people robbing my shit.

People with single coil equipped EGCs! What pot value is used with them?
I received my HB-sized EGC-SC I ordered in July yesterday, and need to know if I should change the pot as well.
