sounds like fun, always like seeing and hearing about what you are using and experimenting with. please keep posting more when you try stuff, its always a highlight for me to read on here. i use my tetanus booster every time i sit down and run my saw u (bowed instrument) into my amp as an always on pedal and it adds a lot of weight and presence which i really love. can't really imagine using my amp without it at this point

i just devised a way of copying loops off my boards system using my DR-07 digital recorder. i plug the board output into the DR's MIC/EXT IN port between the built-in mics using a TRS 1/4'-3.5 mm adapter, and monitor using my old Sony DJ headphones. i set the recorder to run in Mono Mode, which is necessary because my guitar system is mono. after a fair bit of fiddling i managed to sort out the recording and listening levels and i think it's working well so far. now i have to copy the WAV files to the computer and upload them to Soundcloud.

It seems my nature to migrate toward bulky obsolete things. I recently picked up another Akai DR4d digital four track (not the one pictured), so as to bounce stuff back & forth between the machines and possibly connect them with a cable to make for eight tracks of computer free recording. I still need to procure a ZuluSCSI or SCSI2SD drive emulator for it, as spinning HDDs are way too loud to share space with while critically listening.

In other news, there's a Tascam MX2424 rack mount digital 24 track that has been for sale locally for months now. I keep telling myself that I don't have the need (or signal support) for that many tracks, and I'm not sure the SD drive emulators have enough bandwidth to keep up with such a beast, but at $200 it keeps coming to mind.
