Drummer's imminent break up is threatening to tear my entire friend circle apart and I can't do anything about it.

I never asked to deal with social shitstorms. Worst of all is that people are both hounding on me for not taking sides.

Why the fuck would you fire all the people who need to take care of the relatively minor things in the face of a big project that is going to consume all of my time, particularly when I'm now charged with dealing with all of that relatively minor (but time consuming) shit too?
Fuck. Rawr.

You're right in not taking sides. I never take sides. I have had friends get pissy with each other, and I've never taken sides. Be a friend to either side individually, but let them sort out their own drama.
I took some time off for my birthday over the last pay period at work, and it looks like some one forgot to add some of my vacation pay...... My budget has already been tight. It also sucks because my bosses are generally really cool and totally on point with helping their employees out.
I'm so sick of feeling like I'm barely keeping my head above water, financially speaking. If some big thing happens, I'm going to be fucked.
I'm torn between extremely simplifying my life and maybe moving somewhere cheap and easy to live and "playing the game" and being a little business man so I can make my life less hand-to-mouth. The only catches being that moving to a smaller town means less culture, no gymnastics gym (which has been a life-saver for me) and all the other small town things I moved to Denver to avoid, OR I have to sacrifice some of my morals or integrity or whatever in order to make a living here, which is where I want to be right now.

Sometimes you're in a relationship and you think you're both on the same page with something until the next day and you learn you both totally werent on the same page and now you're kind of an asshole.
That's today. Yaaay.

Well at least you're not stuck in the same car driving across the country or anything.

I was in the same pain about a month ago. Go to the dentist. It only gets worse.

Just do some James Brown shit where every time you're about to leave, BAM!
You explode back into the room and introduce yourself all over again. Then begin to slowly make your way out.
Repeat like five times and nobody will forget it.

This is the best idea ever.
Alternatively, hire a big band and a hype man to do this for you while you dance into/out of the room?

Today, I did the right thing. Doing the wrong thing would've been awesome, but arbitrary morals, etc...
