Don't let that stop you, dude. Everbody starts somewhere. I spent two years writing for a small underground blog for free before I started getting paid work.

It's all good, just where do I write? About what should I write???
This is one of many existential questions I dance with on the reg.

show/music reviews for a local paper? The few local papers we have here are always looking for writers/volunteers for their paper editions and websites.

Review your own gear on here. I'm sure the smart writer types here would give you an honest critique. I'll read them but I won't input any constructive criticism. Not smart enough for that as far as punctuation is concerned. But give it a go. It will give you the necessary experience.

And you can always copy your reviews from here for a resumé.

Building my own custom Bass VI is going to cost $1200

Being left-handed is the biggest curse of all time. Wouldn't wish it on my enemies. Time to find stuff to sell.

if there's anything i'm grateful for it's having learned guitar right handed even though i'm a lefty.
at least once it's all over you'll have a smokin' custom instrument better than yr off the shelf stuff

I wish my Dad forced me to play right handed when I was younger. I just played right handed stuff left handed for the longest time, can't even do that anymore though.
I just want to melt faces though.

Oh I'm totes sympathizing, brah.
I'm another lefty that plays and writes right-handed. Saves so much trouble.

Don't know how you guys do it. My whole brain shuts off whenever I try. Feels like I'm trying to regain control of basic movements after a horrific accident.

Well in my case I had a crazy teacher when I was way back in elementary school who decided that I was right handed so I would write right handed... even though I am/was(?) left handed.
Now my handwriting is shit, basically, but at least I have options on guitars.

writing lefty is the worst so i guess that's not so bad.
i can barely do anything with my right hand, even simple shit like using cutlery.
but i'm glad my fretting hand has nice dexterity and picking hand is weak, if it was the other way around maybe i'd have ended up playing djent.

Back when I was boxing I used to train in both orthodox and southpaw. I won a quite a few fights confusing my opponent by switching stances mid round. And then switching back again for the next. By the time they worked out what was going on I'd change again.
Couldn't do it with guitar. It just feels too unnatural to me playing lefty.

Strangely enough, I do every single other thing in life right-handed. The only thing I do left-handed is string instruments. I don't get it.

I write, eat and play pool leftie, but play instruments and most other things right handed. Actually, I'm ambidextrous at pool, just left dominant.
I'm also hella on edge today for no apparent reason. At least it's my weekend off in four hours.
