For future reference, telling someone with depression (in my case you might not have known) they should "lighten up" is stupid and condescending.
This circle has an admissions fee I can't afford anyway, so maybe it's best I just take a break.

I would never had said that if I had known. Calling me stupid and condescending for something I had no way of knowing (unless you have shared that info and I have read all of your post) was a little uncalled for, but fair enough. My best wishes to you. I did not mean to offend, only to have a playful tone.

I have so many health issues that I really need to see a doctor about, but I would never be able to afford any of it anyways. I want to go back to school to get certified as a welder, but the bills have gotten so high that I am living paycheck to paycheck so I wouldn't have time for it anyways, so I feel like I'm just spinning my wheels.
Yea, I hate the way insurances are setup sometimes. Feel for ya man.
I don't know if shops in your town/area do this, but a lot of place where I am from would help you go to school/get the certs to have more welders if you get on as an apprentice. Most of the work was out in the oil fields, but it could be worth a shot (don't know if you have tried). Sometimes unions will make you go to school once a week while working full time too (but you may have less work). That direction could help you pay the bills and get where you want to go. The bonus could be a better health plan too.
Welder is an awesome field to get into if you can. You'll get there, just take care of yourself (I have a ton of welders in the family...you can rough yourself up).
Heck, I don't know if you have any construction experience, but getting on as inspector (was like 2 classes at a JC) is a good paying job. Also X-Ray/inspections out in the fields is a good field related to welding that maybe could get you connections toward welding.

And for the record: I've been going to therapy since I was 10-11 years old (on and off, mostly on for the last 3 years) for anxiety and depression. I really, really did not mean to be a dick.

Very occasionally, I miss beerhammer.
Okay, maybe "miss" is a strong sentiment.
Maybe I wonder what parallel trajectory ILF might have taken had he not faced exile...actually, no. We're good.
Time for some Finkle is Einhorn shit.
Spaceritual is Beerhammer. Beerhammer is Spaceritual.

I never knew that, I joined too late I guess.
Although I gotta say I did have my suspicions.
I guess in the context of Beerhammer being a whole seperate entity, that shit is intolerable at points.
But now, in this new light, I can see that it is actually hilarious.

That blows, dude. High Deductible plans are such bullshit, see if you have the option to switch to a co-payed plan if you still expect to have more frequent medical visits. It might be more economical for you.

UC you should've just watched the South Park episode about Great Expectations. The character portrayals are weirdly accurate.

My friend is crashing on my couch for a bit and right now I'm resisting the urge to play "The Lowdown" by Boz Scaggs and spoon marinara sauce onto his bald head as a way to wake him up.
