I want to post "Yeah but..." then go on about how weirdly interesting the history around the art of sexing chicks is, but I realized I can't do proper research or seriously talk about "sexing chicks" even when I mean it in the most literal sense.

I should go write...

Update: Page 4/5 written in 6 hours. It's shit, but at least it's almost done.

Update 2: Fuck you paper! I'm so over you. Like. Totes.

I found that being a condescending dick helps with writing papers.
Doing stupid "literary" devices is another good way to keep yourself entertained; throw in some allegories and alliterations and shit.

Sad to hear of Paul Prudhomme's passing, but not sure this line in his obit is anything to brag about:
"Prudhomme and his wife Kay introduced the blackened redfish craze, which made the fish so popular that commercial fishing of the species became restricted in order to prevent it from going extinct."

Yeah, sorry to hear about that too. Thai labor will beat American labor almost every time.
(To be fair, the immense popularity of that dish wasn't totally Paul Prudomme's fault. And they were just using that as an example to illustrate how influential his cooking was. I doubt he wants to be remembered as the person almost single-handedly responsible for the near extinction of a fish though. )

I know that, just a weird place to put it worded that way.
Well, actually he is sourcing the stuff from tiles from China and glazing them here...so not that much different? Apparently that Thai place is super craftsman-y or something (encaustic concrete tile is only made in like 7 places in the world...and I think Thailand has two of the factories...Morocco has 1, Mexico 2, and Nicaragua 2). Something like that...even though it is an american copy of older tile...i dunno. But this tile comes from one of those factories and they only deal certain ways and with the locals...so we already contracted a guy through our tile guy to even get that order. Luckily we still aren't out any money.
but 3k for kitchen walls...eh, yea no.

Haha, yea, if you were in California that is a ton of what we have. What we called houses are called bungalows elsewhere, haha. Tons of craftsman and spanish style. But most of the spanish style is like a rebranded craftsman on the insides (for the most part) here in LA. We have a spanish style...which we are making less craftsman and more spanish *.
That is crazy! haha. I gotta get more into some of the older stuff you share, Chankgeez. I've just got my old Al Hirt tv themes albums and stuff...
I just blew my friends mind the other day with some Dr. Know "Fist fuck" after playing the theme to "The courtship of Eddie's father"...oh, Brandon Cruz.
*speaking of which...should probably work on that

Imagine how I do having over a half of my teachers this year being practicing lawyers, magistrates and civil servants?
