I rediscovered my joy of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs after reading that they'd once opened for The Dirtbombs. I feel a bit silly about this, but did y'all know theres a hidden track on the last track of Fever to Tell, "Modern Romance"? I've had this cd for almost 15 years and just learned this

I'm not quite sure what is going on here but I'm into it!!! It's like technicolor cold-wave, congealed goth, seasoned with death industrial. [Fully aware of how ridiculous that reads V V]. For fans of CURRENT 93, THE SCREAMERS, TROPIC OF CANCER, BOY HARSHER

my favorite track from the new Ride album, which applies a shoegaze sheen to a sweep through the history of Madchester combining Oasis at their most likeable with the Stone Roses at their most expansive and dance-oriented. top tune. between their show and the Swervedriver tour in October, my hands expect to spend a lot of time waving in the air this fall.
