Yea, but getting sued and having people constantly harass you for drugs (doctor shopping) might be worth the extra pay...plus 24 -36 hour shifts suck. Stuff I would never want to deal with (plus bodily fluids...nope). 12 years of training, having to go to court over incidents that don't involve you really (yup, my wife had to go into court a bunch of times over stuff like divorce), and only dealing with sick people ain't my thing haha...(and the multiple 100,000s of dollars of debt...yea, nope).

All jobs suck, unless you get some kind of sick desire out of screwing people and find a job that matches that...

I feel ya man. My first job was telemarketing for rodeo tickets...haha

Man, I used to have the dream job (in a way)...no bosses for miles and I worked at my pace (which was faster than my bosses wanted, but it kept them away). Traveling plumber haha...never talked to anyone haha! Paid for it physically and was dead after 7 years of it, but it was better than banana republic (my last "real" job...which was the labor of plumbing + constantly getting yelled at by bosses and customers...but I was the stock lead/area lead-kinda for LP...changed the way the whole damn company worked and was still getting yelled at after lower loss to unheard of levels...over dumb shit like "Lady number 1 said she isn't a size 12, why did you give her a size 12,,,,I don't care if it is the right size, she says she is a size 8, sell her that"...and "How many cards have you signed people up for?""None, I work from 1am to 10 am...store opens at 10am...sorry""You need to fix that then").

Sorry for the ramble

Man, side note, but what the hell is going on outside in LA right now? Like 40 cop cars and 20 ambulances/firetrucks have gone by my house...man, LA goes to crap when it rains a little bit...haha

What in the goddamn fuck. I'm sick of working on fucking active basses. Every time I fucking clean out the electronics the preamps stop working. I'm done. No more active instruments on my bench. I'm sick of people whining about shit they didn't understand and is out of my pay grade to suss out for them.

I keep waking up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat and I don't know why. I don't remember dreaming, I'm not sick, I've gone down to the bare minimum of blankets. It's weird and uncomfortable and exhausting.

Stress/adrenaline depletion or eating late are causes of that. It's the worst though, waking up in a flop sweat sucks so much when its cold.

GIVE ME THE ERROR YOU FUCKING FUCK WIT. DO YOU JUST GO TO THE DOCTOR AND YELL "I'M SICK!" IN HIS FACE UNTIL HE MAGICALLY FINDS YOUR ISSUE?! NO FUCKER, I DIDN'T THINK SO.

OMFG. When I worked in tech support this was half of the emails we got...from full fledged mac admins. You have my full sympathy.

I always get sick right before xmas. Last year it was fucking penumonia. This morning I had to get my heavily pregnant mrs to drive me to the emergency room at 4am with kidney stones.

I'm mostly annoyed because I've left stuff at work that I'll have to go in on my week off next week to fix up.

Trying not to be depressed but I have been working on a project at work for almost 8 months now that would have been huge career-wise and in a number of other ways and the bottom just fell out of it.
Really friggen sucks.

Job is secure and I should be thankful for that, but this means I have pretty much hit the ceiling.

No problem, It happens to me all the time. Happened last night to me as well. My adrenals have been fucked since I used to work retail.

Shoot. My. Face. I ordered some new sweaters for my pop for Xmas. They originally went out UPS SurePost (first sign of trouble), transferred to the post office, then lost and somehow delivered all in one day but not really. Today tracking says it was delivered to my mailbox yesterday. While yesterday tracking said it was lost. I double checked my mailbox this morning. They're not fucking in there. All they had to do was not change carriers and it would have made it. Anyways I cancelled that shit so I can get my money back and if those sweaters don't show up tomorrow I'll buy something else. Fuck.

emergency room again at 4am this morning. Zero to screaming wailing agony in like ten minutes. When the nurse put the IV she fucked it up and blood sprayed everywhere. It was kinda funny actually. Also I had to shelve painkillers.

Spent all today either floating or feeling dopesick, I've had these before but this one is the worst, SUCCCKKS. Especially cuz it just reduces me to a screaming gibbering mess and my mrs is like seven months pregnant so having to get her to help me makes me feel super shitty.

Oh well, the drugs are helping me write stuff for a new slow band.

I was gonna say, damn, me too. Unfair to get a cold again when I already had a nasty one a couple months ago and when I finally get a brief reprieve from hitting work hard again next week. But I sound like a wus next to this and today's update:

Last year it was fucking penumonia. This morning I had to get my heavily pregnant mrs to drive me to the emergency room at 4am with kidney stones.

Ouch, man. Hope that shit all gets resolved soon and you can get back to taking care of the mrs. My mrs. came down with this cold a day before me and put her finger on it: if I'm taking care of her, who's gonna take care of me? Our dogs are pretty useless at that.
