Someone posted years ago and it always stuck in my head. “Take your music very seriously but don’t take yourself too seriously.” Something to that effect. I dig it.

Really the only problem I've had with ILF as a forum is I feel scared to talk about certain bands/artist I like for fear of being shit on, something that has happened more than once. Beyond that tho, most of the problems I've had are with individuals. But for the most part, this place is nice and civil and has proven to me more than once that its worth posting here and being social, especially after the money we raised for Pete.

Nah man fuck that. I dig all types of music except country. I admitted that I liked Rings of Saturn here.. It seems to be unpopular with fuzz Bro's. It's all food man, that's what makes us all different. The tunes we dig, the women/dudes we dig, the guitars we like. All that. Nobody really cares. And if they do..

I think you should not give a fuck and post what you want. Look I hate a large majority of what the majority on this site loves and it doesn't matter.

I recall an aging, long-haired music creep from the noise rock cbgb's era... lamenting "people who say they like a little bit of everything except country always have the worst taste in music" and the deeper I dive into that assertion, the longer it stands undefeated :idk:

Fuck Yes NJ Bro!!!
Great station. The other night I threw it on and BEHOLD...Country was playing. It was a blast.

I think most people confuse 'Country' for 'Country Rock' anyway (you know...fake accent that sounds like a flamboyant Forest Gump + auto tune and generic twangy guitars...I still like it but whatever...)

I think maybe the only problem with ILF is that its kinda a boys club.

Btw hi remember me

I don't.

I dunno I haven't been here for months but yall are helpful most of the time.
I bought a big muff clone that stanimal made and etched that I still use to this day.

I think one thing that I'm conflicted about is the Devi drama. She was completely in the wrong and she handled really really poorly.
But she was the first builder to get me into pedals and not just using a multi effect.
And way more importantly she was the first trans woman I ever saw just existing, in real life. I didn't even know until years after I had bought my first devi pedal, but I was really important because representation used to be pretty terrible. Either we're in porn or being completely dragged in the mainstream media.
So I'll never be able to be objective.
And I kind of understand where shes been at, being trans is terrible sometimes. I might be homeless in a couple of months. And it doesn't excuse her behaviour but its never so simple as good and bad.

I dunno, both my bands broke up anyways so I haven't even been playing music much so I didn't have much to post about.

I love that you guys were referencing Avril Lavine, she was my childhood fave.

In conclusion,
:idk:
