Same here. Also, the hold is still probably my favorite firmware update yet.Inconuucl wrote:I need the lowdown on this PURPLL.
that sounds rad! very exciting stuff. now I just need to sell some things to fund mine. at least I know I'll be able to get one.multi_s wrote:right now the next update will just have 1 preset. it will just write over the power up default for the hidden parameters, and also have a way to restore factory settings. basically you can have 1 favorite setting that it defaults to.decomposing wrote: any chance for saving a preset in upcoming wares?
and a ct5 in a big box would be amazing!
more knobs! or external / CV controls?
a big box ct5... maybe but it's not the first thing i would do., we are making more devices. what are they... time will tell.

Make sure you download to the device correctly. Use the upgrade button circled in green. Many people have had this problem, here is what happens, maybe it happened to you too, maybe notelcapistan wrote:So I decided to update my ct5. For some reason the latest update was doing nothing. Like everything stayed exactly the same. So i tried the one right before and it worked fine. Not sure what was going on. I'm fine with it as is for now though because I'm not noticing any bugs or whatever. Looks like there will be another update soon so I'll just try again then.
But yeah, the update. Holy crap. The hold on mode 1 is awesome. I've been using it a lot. And I'm excited for the preset update because I love setting a subtle modulation on mode 1. It'll be nice to just have that ready to go every time I power up the board.
The mode 3 step modulation just incredible. I would have never thought to do that. It I think it's my favorite feature now. It brings the pedal closer and closer to this ideal effect I have in my head for an independent soundscape maker haha. Make a long loop of just a few notes, have everything at a slow step modulation, run it into a delay and 100% wet reverb, sit back and listen to the slowly morphing and evolving ambience.
The manual is out of date. please see this post for details. All posts with changes are linked at the top of the manual too.Aquietcabin1978 wrote:Was looking through the online manual, am I missing how to get into the mode 3 step modulation. It sounds dope. Someone help my illiterate self.
Ok... now I have to try the step modulation. Look what you did now. Welcome to the hold club though. I use the hold almost every time I play now.elcapistan wrote:So I decided to update my ct5.
