damn...some crazy shit going down in istanbul today...luckily its not too close to our hotel, but we can hear some stuff time to time and seen a few groups running to and from the police fronts.
looks like things may start calming down later tonight...but fuck i am bored of staying in a hotel all day, wi-fi has been sketchy and been watching BBC, CNN and a few music channels...positive note, i've watched a lot of pop music, which i hardly ever watch...and i can say safely that i haven't missed out on anything...the worst thing i saw was Avril Lavine's new song about Hello Kitty...some japanese themed song that is cringe worthy! Also, noticed that Pharrel Williams is on every second pop song...that guy must be raking it in!

That's what I want to be in the pop world that just comes into a song drops some lines and collects some pay.

Stay safe buddy!
That Avril Lavigne song is contending for the worst song ever released.... i mean everything about the song and video is just absolute garbage. It got so much negative criticism in the first week here in america they pulled the official videos offline and you can only watch bootlegs now, and they are racking up negative comments by the thousands.

I don't go out of my way to listen to his band, but Randy Blythe did a great job describing the heavy music genre-phenomenon it in his review of the new Floor record:
...neatly cramming the band into a compartmentalized combination of a few of the seemingly endless and ridiculously specific sub-genres that continually rise up like stress-induced acne from the over-analytical minds of OCD metal fans. Then, only because Floor has clean vocals and a hook or two, I would just add the tag “-pop” on the end: “stoner-pop”, “sludge-pop,” “doom-pop”… um, can anyone tell me WHAT IN THE FUCK does any of that mean? It sounds like a bunch of horrible ice cream flavors.

Yeah dude, and outdoor festival (whether it be in the desert or the woods) demands all you can muscle up on stage.
but since im boring and don't gig (or have the fucking time to even jam) ill keep my 200+ pound cabs
besides that cab, is retarded. like even im borderline like "naaaaaw no wayyy"
but ive been working on swindling that bitch for over a year. the owner of a hifi shop owns it.
"got any NOS 12ax7s?"
"ya ive got a ton"
"ill take the lot. . . . so, that sub....."

hahaha we wouldn't expect you any other way buddy.

That's awesome!!! If it puts the earthquake sub to shame I am excite for deetz.
Nobodies guessed our new bass cab yet.

It's not the most exciting but its a proven cab thats getting rarer and can definitely do what we need it to. Finding a second one is gonna be hard though... but hopefully not impossible.

So. Um. That thing where I only play 7-strings?
Yeah, so this happened:

1974 SG-II. Early birthday present, since it's my birth year and all.
