1. Had add up on Reverb for a pedal at $549 for 1,5 months. Nothing happens.
2. List on ILF for buddy price of $475, sells shy of a week later.
3. The Reverb add I haven't had time to pull sells 30 minutes later.
4. Will have to refund Reverb buyer and pay Reverb $20.
5. Total loss: $94
On the plus side, I'm glad it stayed with ILF.

I had my neck bug out a little while ago. Went to a chiropractor. Dude unfucked it. I don't understand why some people are very anti-chiropractor, but I've also never been to one that does the weird hippy shit that seems to fuel a lot of the criticism.

That blows man.
Did you have to do that awkward thing where you question them back while trying to skirt the issue, because directly addressing the issue means engaging the fact that they are incompetent?

There's no science behind what they do.
Chiropractors started out as travelling medicine men with a sideshow about using magnets and electricity to heal, usurping the frontier science around the medicinal applications of those things at the time and using misinformation to "treat ailments" for dollars.
The fact that you guys still have reputable universities that have schools of chiropractic "medicine" is pretty fucking astounding when the empirical evidence is in that there's nothing really going on there.

+1. Even though I'm technically in a happy relationship she is 9 timezones away, so I'm still a bitter cock.
Follow up on the back pain: took one paracetamol and one diklofenakkium pill 400mg and 25mg yesterday and I didn't feel a thing in the back. Felt it this morning but way less than before, took one of each again today and it feels normal. And yesterday I worked an 11hour constant standing shift, and today merely 6 hours. Just figured I'd give this advice to anyone feeling muscle pains in the back or wherever

Hell, my partner lives in the same town, but their other partner has been visiting for the last month, so i'm just not getting a whole lot of time. Plus they're going to miss my birthday, so color me unexcited about turning 30.

I mean the only ailments I've had treated have been unfucking my back and neck -- like when something locks into place because of my SUPER COOL MOUNTAIN DEW ACTION SPORTS LIFESTYLe or whatever, I'll ring up my Chiro and he'll manipulate things/twist and prod to unlock said something. (For a hell of a lot cheaper than a doctor), but he's never said anything about 'medicine' to me? aside from "ice, asprin, and call me in a couple of days if something gets weird"
I have heard a lot of weird shit associated with them, but my dude is one of those nice/surly no-bullshit old dudes, so it's a hard picture for me to reconcile, you know?

So it turns out drinking 8 beers doesn't cure bad feelings caused by a rejection letter, but it does give you a headache to distract you.

Totally understandable.
What they do with your back and the "unlocking" still isn't entirely science, more fancy remedial massage, but it does have a benefit for relief of symptoms. And you're right, the old school ones seem to be trying to distance themselves from this new wave of Chemtrail huffing, antivaccinating, shit for brains inner suburban trust fund hedge hippies.
I take no issue with that.

What a way to end my week long anxiety attack: depression and hopelessness.
Should probably not take a bath with the toaster, but I feel like I'm gonna be feeling this way until the sun blows up.

I'm way more IcebKing than Skmon these days.
